Non-alcoholic steatosis hepatitis (NASH) is an obesity-induced hepatitis. Low fat, high fat, high fat + GTE (1%) and high fat + GTE (2%) are ingested in each rats for 8 weeks, and the results can be interpreted between several factors. GTE also reduces NFKB-dependent inflammatory mediators TNF\u0251 and MCP-1 and neuroinflammatory factors hepatic Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). However, GTE reduces peroxide lipids by reducing activity without affecting the expression of CYP2E1 mRNA. It was derived that there was no correlation between arachidonic acid induced by PGE2 and GTE, and that GTE could reduce PGE2 without affecting a fatty acid called arachidonic acid.
