Jeju island has its own tradition different from the mainland. Nowadays we think Jeju as a beautiful and peaceful ground. Nut there was a dark side only 4 years ago. We called it Jeju 4.3 massacre. That was a civil war, not an attack on another country. Citizens of the same country fought with each other for the stability of new government.
