It has been used in Egypt and Ancient Rome B.C., and in the Middle Ages, many people lost their limbs due to war, so technology developed a lot. Traditionally, materials such as steel, aluminum, wood, and leather have been used a lot. Recently, with the development of 3D printing technology, it has become easier to access than in the past.
There are three types of artificial limbs. The first is a decorative prosthetic hand with no movement, the second is an active prosthetic hand, which is a way of exercising, and the third is an efficiency-oriented working hand rather than an exterior.
