As the usage of smartphones become more and more pervasive, members of the modern society has been using a diverse variety of SNS(Social Network Service) applications as a platform for communicating. Instagram, the image-based social platform has established itself as one of the most used SNS worldwide, by generating ‘hashtags’, which shares content by attaching keywords behind the “#” symbol. The hashtag allows users to search for specific information that they want, thereby increasing the efficiency of image screening and enhancing curation functions. As a result, groups of people with similar interests were formed around hashtags, and companies began to use Instagram as a new marketing platform to communicate with them. Achieving the brand’s message delivery, product promotion, and customer expansion through influential users on social networks instead of existing celebrities has become an efficient, modern marketing strategy for recent companies.
